Last week was Baby Loss Awareness Week so the girls at our Devon shoot hosted by Wendy Spackman chose Sands as the recipient of the funds they raised in a charity raffle.

Sands is the UK stillbirth and neonatal death charity. They support anyone affected by the death of a baby and they promote research to reduce the loss of babies’ lives.

The girls raised a total of £130 thanks to all of the kind contributors to the raffle.

Of the fundraising efforts, Charlotte Trowbridge, one of the guests on the day, said “No other words are needed except ‘THANK YOU'”

“A personal touch, sixteen years ago tomorrow I gave birth to my beautiful daughter, Amelia”

“Just 13 days later I held her as she passed away. SANDS were there for me and for far too many other bereaved parents. The support they give to grieving parents is just amazing, our rainbow in the darkest skies. Thank you again”.

We’d like to say a huge thank you to Wendy, Charlotte and all of the women that came to shoot with us on the day. Once again, we’re touched by how many amazing women we’ve met through Femmes Fatales.
